About the Crossing Desk

This is an independent guide to Caesars Windsor, written for visitors who come over from Detroit. It is signed by its editorial desk, the Crossing Desk, and it takes no bets and opens no accounts.

By the Crossing DeskChecked October 2026

One desk, no byline

The Crossing Desk is the editorial desk that writes and signs this guide. No author is named. The guide is not Caesars Windsor, not Caesars Entertainment and not OLG.

Those two run the casino: Caesars Entertainment operates it on behalf of OLG, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. This site takes no bets and opens no accounts.

Checked, and left out

Facts in this guide were checked in October 2026. The sources were the casino's own pages, the regional tourism board, OLG, the AGCO, iGaming Ontario and ConnexOntario. Local news was used for the tunnel bus and the garage. Distances from towns such as LaSalle or Leamington are straight lines between OpenStreetMap points, and roads are longer.

Some things are left out on purpose. Border documents are one: the Canada Border Services Agency sets the rules for entering Canada, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection sets them for entering the United States. Fares, prices and show dates do not appear either. For the Colosseum, the schedule is on the casino's own website.

Paid links on the home page

Only the home page carries paid links, and each one is marked Ad. There are three placements: a button in the menu, a block below the first screen and a block near the end. All of them lead to one private online casino partner that pays the guide a commission. The partner is not named here and can change. The guide does not vouch for it, and readers can check any site in the iGO directory at igamingontario.ca.

Generated scenes

The pictures on this site are generated scenes, made for the guide with an image generator. None of them shows a person or a sign. No picture is a photograph of the casino building, so they should not be read as views of the venue.

What the site keeps

The site has no accounts, no forms and no ad trackers. A reader can pick a light or dark display, and that choice is kept only for the open browser tab. Closing the tab ends it.
